Actually...here are some pictures that I thought were worthwhile posting from Africa.

There are certain moments in your life when you realize the impact of your experience will reverberate throughout your life.  Africa was one of those moments.
I do not believe that going to Africa has made me a  better person, but it has opened my eyes to another world.  Where a place feels so foreign and familiar at the same time, you realize a dormant part of yourself has re-awoken to connect on a primative level with the land.
And you realize why man has always been afraid of the night.
The beautiful bounty of Africa is something that a movie or pictures can not quite capture.  Yet, the word "poverty" takes on a new meaning when you see the villages of Africa.
If there is anything I realized from this trip, it is the humbling experience of seeing the vastness of the African bush and observing the beauty of its people.

I know...I still owe photos from my Africa trip, but it's taken me 10+ hours to organize most (90%) of all my 2,500+ photos.  I will start posting them in the New Year!!!  So, stay tuned...I promise you some of them will be National Geographic type.  But I'm headed to NEW YORK CITY with my girlfriend for NEW YEARS.  So, for all you NEW YORKERS that I haven't seen in awhile, give me a call or e-mail me at sterlchung@yahoo.com.  I'll be there from Dec. 30th to Jan. 4th.

I just got back from Africa.  Africa is an AMAZING place.  I can't even begin to describe the landscape, animals, culture and people I saw and experienced there.  A trip to Africa is definitely a life changing experience.  There is nothing I can compare to it and nothing that can come close to what it is like in Africa.  And the stories I have from that place sounds like the stuff from movies.  Once I organize my pictures and ask my girlfriend how she puts up her pictures on Xanga, I will begin telling you what is was like there.

Edit:  I was in Tanzania - Specifically, the southern part

Did you know that the same medication for pimples is used to treat Malaria?  Time to spray down and pack the rest of my clothes.  Dang....Africa.

Off to Africa, specifically Tanzania, this Friday (13th Oct. 2006)...I'll be back the 29th of Oct. 2006.  I can't believe how quickly this trip came up, even though we've planned for about 1+ years  for this trip.  Hopefully, the really expensive camera pays off and I have some pictures to show for it when I get back.  I'm excited to see and experience all that Africa has to offer.  I welcome this break from the daily routine.
